My name is Milan Medgyesi.

 

I’m an image editor and a photojournalist. I’ve been interested in the world of photography and motion pictures since I was a child. By the time I had graduated from elementary school,
I knew exactly what I wanted to do with my life. I studied media and communications at Buda High School and I obtained my degree as a photojournalist at the department of photography from Budapest Metropolitan University in 2016.

I’ve been working for Hirtukor - a newspaper publisher in Százhalombatta - as a photojournalist since 2015 and in 2017
I also joined the team of Origo - a leading news website in Hungary - as an image editor and a photojournalist. I feel really fortunate to have a job that’s also my passion.

My assignments for Hirtukor mainly consist of taking pictures of different aspects of urban living which I enjoy enormously and which has also given me the opportunity to get to know a lot of new people. I love making new connections and consider myself a people person. I also love exercising and although I don’t have a favourite theme for photography, society and sport related pictures are the closest to my heart.

As a photojournalist I believe in credibility and integrity so
I attempt to complete all of my assignments at the highest level of professionalism before they get published.
